Visa Process
The UK Government provides an opportunity for all international students to study in UK with the visa depending on your age and the type of study you wish to pursue in the UK.
The visa application will be evaluated under the new points-based standards. You should get your application under Tier 4 – General Student. To gain a General Student Visa, you need to acquire 40 points: CAS Number 30 points are granted for the CAS Number and the original academic documents issued to grant you admission at the Academy. Bank statement gives 10 points by providing your personal bank statement showing that you have sufficient money to meet the maintenance costs set by the UK Border Agency. Check if you qualify for the category of visa Tier 4.
To be qualified for a Tier 4 student visa, requirements:
- To have an offer unconditionally of a place on a program with a licensed Tier 4 sponsor
- Be competent to speak, read, write and comprehend English
- Have sufficient funds to sustain yourself and pay for your course
Documents required for Tier 4 student visa are:
- A current passport or other valid travel documentation
- Proof of funds to render your living expenses for the duration of your course
- Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) reference number and documents used to obtain CAS
- Passport-sized color photographs
- Tuberculosis screening
- Assessment documentation
- Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) clearance certificate (if required)
